Introducing Nay's MANDATORY Download of the Week!

Introducing Nay's MANDATORY Download of the Week! Please be advised that Nay does not refer to Jay in any way. Nay is a character that I created a couple of years ago. Parge is Nay's best friend and weight lifting buddy. As you may have read below I had to cease and desist Jay's MANDATORY Download of the Week due to some legal issues. I have decided to pull Nay out of the closet in order to continue the much anticipated ritual of the MANDATORY download. Enjoy the premier edition.
In the Sky Tonight by Bill Collins
Stay tuned as I will attempt to make this a weekly post.
The Demise of Jay's MANDATORY Download of the Week
I'm afraid I have some rather unfortunate news. Jay's lawyer recently sent me a cease and desist letter regarding the use of Jay's likeness and musical tastes on my website. The letter threatens legal action if I continue to post the Jay's MANDATORY download's of the week. Below is a brief excerpt from the thirty two page letter that was sent to me on Friday.
Please cease and desist using the likeness of my client John Casey LaPointe. As his tarrif lawyer I will seek legal action against you and your website if anything further is posted about my client. As you may or may not know you are in clear violation of habeus corpus and your laissez faire attitude will not serve as an excuse. In your posts you are only including 99% of the truth. My client feels he is being wrongly portrayed and will seek punitive damages if this nonsense doesn't stop. As you may know the law contains many loopholes that will allow you to continue to get your point across. Instead of posting photos of my client why don't you try using stickfigures. If you have any questions regarding this cease and desist order you can e-mail me at dancewithbeth@hotmail.com.Sincerely,Brendan S. Tuohy, ESQWell I don't really know what to say. I hope that we can find a way around this. Please e-mail me with any suggestions so we can keep the dream alive.
Hispanic Music Video and the MANDATORY Download of the Week
I'm back. I know all two of my readers have been missing my hourly posts, but fear not I am back for at least today. Sarah and I moved up to Long Beach last weekend and I must say it rocks. Long Beach has everything. It is close to every California beach town that you could possibly ever want to go to. Yesterday we went to Huntington Beach which is a surfer's paradise. So obviously we fit in. They have a main street that is lined with bars and restaurants all leading to the wharf pier and miles upon miles of beautiful sandy beaches. If you are ever in the OC this is the place to be. We also stopped by Newport Beach so that we could steal GOB's Segue and eat frozen bannana's. When we pulled up to Balboa Pier we saw that they were shooting some kind of video production. I became overly excited thinking that it might be a shoot for either the OC or Arrested Development. Much to my dismay I was dead wrong. There were four Latinos lined up in a row and they kept dancing on the pier to some crappy Menudo song. They must not have gotten their dance moves right because they continued to roll take after take of this shit. Needless to say we quickly moved on. This leads us to the MANDATORY Download of the week. Actually it doesn't, but it sounded good.
Coldplay is one of my favorite bands and they released their new album yesterday. I camped out in front of iTunes for weeks waiting for it to become available. Finally I got my wish and I must say I wasn't disappointed. I suggest checking out the full album, but I will leave you with a single song suggestion.

MIA and the MANDATORY Download of the Week
As some of you may have noticed I have been MIA for the past week. I was so busy last week that I was unable to post Jay's MANDATORY Download of the Week on Friday. Sorry about that. I promise to post something so big it will make you forget all about last week. Anyways here goes nothing.
I have decided to go old school this week as iTunes has recently added one of my favorite albums.
If you like Ben Folds (Five) you have to check out the debut album from them simply titled Ben Folds Five.
The entire album is good but my favorite is Philosophy. Check this song out and I promise you will never be hungry again.
