MANDATORY Album Download of the Week!
Welcome back faithful servants. Sorry for the lack of recent posts, but being unempoyed is tough and I haven't been able to find any free time. I haven't posted a MANDATORY song download in quite sometime so I have decided to make up for this by mandating an entire album.Hold on to your Depends* because here we go.
Now Kevin will accuse me of posting something that is too old and that has already been discovered, but this album is too good to overlook. I have not mentioned this band on the blog before now and I feel that the time is right.
The Arcade Fire-Funeral
I was in Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and saw this as one of the albums that is on display when you walk in the store. This was a complete suprise. I am crossing my fingers that this album never ends up with the Jay LaPointe seal of approval. If that occurs you must destroy all copies and you must instruct all your friends to do the same. It is a necessary precaution to prevent the rest of your music collection from sucking. The only exceptions to this rule are Guster and the whatnot.

I prefer Oops I Crapped My Pants brand diapers. They can really hold up to a gallon of feces.
You never want the LaPointe seal of music approval. It is like a death sentence. If he likes it and it's not rap, it's guaranteed to be playing in a grocery store near you very soon. I heard both Arcade Fire and Blue Merle (Jay pronounces it "Merrill")on my flight to Jesse's wedding on a station with department store pop, so they're both well on their way.
